Offerings/Services
I help organizations and individuals identify and amplify their superpowers through unearthing insights together, storytelling and meaningful, strategic engagement.
This means different things to the different partners I work with. I’ve worked on short to long-term projects with individuals, small business entrepreneurs and larger organizations such as (but not limited to): Ashoka, Bloom Works, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and New America. Check out the buckets I work in below with some examples of what projects have looked like.
Bottom line - I’m open and excited by the possibilities to do cool work together and support the greater good. I always start collaborations with listening and learning more about your needs. This helps me better offer-up a custom-crafted approach that truly speaks to what you want to get done. [Spoiler Alert - I won’t tell you I can help with something if I can’t. Life’s too short for that.]
Work Buckets
The projects I work on tend to fit into the 4 main areas (click the + sign to learn more):
-
We must tap into a deeper source to gain full access to our superpowers and inner wisdom. I believe we are ALL born with unique gifts and abilities to share and express. Yet sometimes we need some initial assistance to reconnect with that. I pull from the assistance, training and gifts I have received over time with ancient wisdom and healing traditions to uniquely support individuals and small groups looking to gain greater clarity, wellness support, healing and remember their superpowers at the deepest level. My greatest wish with this work is to help others realize - we are our own greatest teachers and healers.
What That Looks Like: 1-on-1 Guidance (Recurring Issues, Visioning, Grief Support, etc) Sessions/Consultations that support the Body, Mind and Soul, Reiki+ Healing Sessions, Primordial Sound Meditation Instruction, and Group Meditation Sessions. I know this area might feel a bit squishy/unfamiliar versus the others. Check out this page to get a better feel for what I mean.
-
It’s hard to meaningfully address and fix things we don’t fully understand. I use a human-centered design lens & other problem solving methods and tools to gain a more holistic understanding for a given topic/issue, and begin developing solutions.
What That Looks Like: Discovery Sprints, Designing & Launch Support of Programs/Initiatives/Training; Landscape Analysis; Qualitative Research & Analysis
-
Compelling stories and communication have the power to make meaning, build connection and ignite ideas and action. I help craft authentic and effective stories, content, and messaging to the right audiences. I also help build cultures and systems that understand the impact of effective communication.
What That Looks Like: Storytelling and Communications Strategy & Implementation; Building Systems and Tools to Support Communication, Brand & Message Development; Website & Content Development; Copywriting; Speechwriting
-
Well-crafted spaces can create a special kind of magic and impact. I work with partners to identify opportunities and curate experiences to build connection and tap into the the power of the collective.
What That Looks Like: Engagement Strategy and Execution; Event Design + Curation; Running and Facilitating Workshops, Retreats, and/or other Events; Strategic Advising on topics related to Org Culture and Engagement (DEIB, Internal Communication, etc)
If this resonates, let’s connect and explore the possibilities!
Impressions
A few reflections from folks who have worked with me before:
"Malini was an excellent facilitator for our team. Team off-sites can be logistically challenging with all the moving pieces, but Malini was so easy to work with and created the perfect introduction for us. She created a grounding, peaceful energy that immediately put everyone at ease, and in a receptive state for the week. She created the perfect prompts to help us get to know one another and ourselves better, and to articulate our goals and aspirations for the retreat. I can't imagine a better start to our team's offsite than the session she led!"
- Emily Wright-Moore, CXO | Principal of Design & Research, Bloom Works
“Malini was a key member of the innovation team when I served as the Chief Technology Officer at HHS. She took the lead launching the Invent Health initiative, researching and strategizing how to shine a spotlight on the hardware of health & human services. She pulled together scarce resources to create high-impact events, making a way out of no way.
Malini is also a fabulous writing partner and I appreciated her quick, creative, accurate turn-around on every project we worked on together. And if you need to find a unique voice for your organization, Malini is a gifted translator. She listens, learns, and then interprets what you want to convey into language that people understand. Nobody writes like she can -- she draws people in with just a few words and made government work look cool.”
— Susannah Fox, Internet Geologist, Former Chief Technology Officer, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
“Malini is an incredibly insightful, passionate and creative communicator, who immediately jumped into our work to help us understand how we could better tell the story of both the work that we are accomplishing, but more importantly, the stories of the communities we serve. She listens, and is able to frame a vision based on her ability to understand an issue, problem or opportunity, in a way that is unique and elevates the organization she is working with. You can tell from the minute you meet her that she will have an impact on your work.”
— Nathan Ohle, Former Chief Executive Officer, Rural Community Assistance Partnership (RCAP)
"The team enjoyed the activities during the workshop. Malini was an awesome facilitator and quickly connected with the entire team in different activities that demonstrated the dynamics of the group and their personalities. Me and my team are very pleased with Malini and with the outcome of the workshop, which was very useful in improving our day-to-day work."
— Hernan Costa Castro, Chief, Information Systems and Digital Innovation, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
“Malini's warm, grounded presence and deep intuitive wisdom supported me to recognize, disentangle and release deep emotional bonds which were no longer serving me. With her skilled guidance, I was empowered to go deeper to transmute this stuck energy and become more aligned with my true nature. I feel deeply grateful for having aN intuitive guide like Malini. I can't recommend her services enough.
— Stacey Martin
"Malini’s brightness and openness set the perfect tone.”
“Facilitator is excellent at giving the group moments of silence to reflect, and pushing us to engage by giving us space and time to do so.”
